PIB Employee Benefits has acquired international benefits specialist Atwood Benefits UK for an undisclosed sum.
Atwood Benefits is a consultancy firm working with international companies operating in the UK, and assists them with their benefits provision. PIB Employee Benefits says this latest acquisition enables it to offer more support to international clients and globally mobile employees.
PIB Employee Benefits has made a number of recent acquisitions, buying benefits technology platform Amba earlier this year, and YouatWork in April 2024. Its expansion in the benefits market in recent years has also seen it acquire Creative Benefit Solutions, i2 Healthcare and the UK employee benefits division of Sanlam Wealth Planning.
Both companies said they would work to ensure a seamless transition for existing clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the onboarding process. No immediate changes will be made, and Atwood Benefits UK Ltd will continue trading under this name for the foreseeable future.
PIB Employee Benefits managing director David Skinner says: “Atwood Benefits has a wealth of experience in supporting businesses and start-ups develop their benefits in the UK, and we’re excited to bring their expertise into our team.”
Atwood Benefits UK director Tim Atkins adds: “We are thrilled to be joining PIB Employee Benefits, and welcome to opportunity to combine our strengths, broaden our expertise, and deliver even greater value to our clients.”
