Focus Oxford has seven registered individuals and been in existence for 27 years, offering advice to individuals and corporates across pensions, investments, mortgages and life assurance. PSA says the deal will give it economies of scale to boost its growth and enhance its ability to offer clients greater levels of investment and wealth management solutions.
Punter Southall Aspire says it plans further acquisitions of retail advisers in the next few years. The firm now has 100 employees servicing around 1,000 private clients and 200,000 scheme members across 1,250 schemes. It advises on assets of around £3.7bn.
Punter Southall Aspire CEO Steve Butler says: “We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of Focus Oxford LLP, a well-established business that shares our values and vision for making savings and investments less complex and more accessible for everyone.
“This is one of several acquisitions we plan to make over the next few years in the retail finance space that will enhance our proposition for individuals and employers and enable us to deliver financial advice and education in an effective and meaningful way.”
