PwC has been named the Pensions Administration Standards Association’s (PASA) data expert partner for 2025.
The firm will work with PASA to improve data standards and practices across the UK’s £2tn pensions industry.
As part of its continued investment in pensions data expertise, PwC has appointed Kristy Cotton as head of pensions data, who will also chair PASA’s data working group. Additionally, PwC has expanded its pensions risk transfer team by hiring Tom Whiteley as director in Edinburgh to support trustee and sponsor clients.
PwC UK head of pensions Gareth Henty says: “We are delighted to be selected by PASA as its Data Expert Partner. This partnership underscores our capabilities and strategic focus in data services for pension schemes, and we are excited to work closely with PASA to drive up data standards in pensions through our expertise in technology and backed by our specialist and independent pensions data team.
“With 2025 poised to be a busy year in pensions data services and continued pensions risk transfer activity, we’re equally delighted to welcome Kristy and Tom, whose skills and knowledge will enhance our ability to deliver value to clients and the industry at large.
“Kristy has joined PwC because of the great things we are doing in the market in pensions data and tech, and her passion and depth of expertise in this area further bolsters PwC’s capabilities.”
