RedArc has appointed Sam Hudson to be its new managing director with the current MD, Christine Husbands becoming the firm’s commercial director.
Hudson will continue in his current role as managing director of Assured Futures, which like RedArc sits within the Howden Group.
In these new roles Hudson will run the operational side of RedArc, allowing Husbands to focus on developing client-facing, partner and business growth and marketing activities.
Howden Group says these changes reflect the growth of RedArc in recent years. It says that under Husbands direction the company has seen a significant increase in the number of insurers, affinity groups and membership organisations using its services. As a result it now providers its nursing-led services to a far wider number of individuals, while also expanding its range of expert third-party suppliers.
RedArc commercial director Christine Husbands says: “Personalised, holistic added-value services have never been more important in helping people cope with their experience of illness, trauma or bereavement. I look forward to having more time to focus on extending our reach, and working alongside our existing clients in tailoring our services and support.”
RedArc managing director Sam Hudson says: “It is a privilege to join the team at RedArc. Having already worked in the health and protection side of the group, I know just how much their support is valued at what is often the most difficult time in people’s lives.”
