Reframe Cancer has appointed Russell Young as commercial director.

Young joins Reframe Cancer from Further Group UK, where he served as director of sales and account management, leading significant growth with insurers and brokers over the last two and a half years. This included managing their solutions for international navigation and supporting cancer initiatives.

He has also held previous roles in insurance at Cigna Global and Morgan Price International Healthcare. In his new role, he will head the sales function, as well as join the senior management team, reporting to CEO Mark Stephenson.

Young appointment follows recent senior hires of professor Ben Kelly from Nuffield Health as chief operating officer and Nikki Cannon, who previously led the transformation of personalised care and survivorship at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Trust, as head of screening.

Young says: “I’m delighted to be joining Reframe Cancer at a time when they are going through significant growth. What they do for cancer patients is amazing and I look forward to working with insurers, employers and intermediaries to help bring their proven solutions to as many employees and individuals as possible.”

Reframe Cancer CEO Mark Stepheson says: “We’re so pleased to have secured Russell to head up our commercial function. His appointment will help bring innovative solutions across the whole cancer pathway and help us further expand in our designated customer channels. His knowledge of the market mixed with his ethical approach will further help us grow as we continue to expand and invest in new systems.”
