Freedom Health Insurance has partnered with Reframe Cancer, and will offers the company’s services to those covered in its group and individual private health insurance schemes.
Reframe Cancer offers clinical guidance and navigation to those diagnosed with cancer, which includes expert advice and advocacy, practical assistance and access to a range of online resources.
For a limited period Freedom Health members will also get access to Reframe’s Care for Carers products.
As part of this assistance package members have access to a dedicated cancer nurse, who can provide information as well as emotional support. Reframe Cancer can also cover transportation to appointments and treatment when needed, as well as help on getting people back into the workplace after treatment.
This partnership with Reframe Cancer is part of Freedom Health’s Freedom 360 – a new digital toolkit provided on all its group schemes.
Reframe Cancer CEO Mark Stephenson says: “Freedom Health Insurance are a family run business and are passionate about patient choice.” He says the partnership was a “natural fit” with Reframe Cancer aiming to offer clinical guidance for cancer across both NHS and private pathways. “This is great value for members, and Reframe Cancer’s clinical CQC regulated capabilities, tech advancements and data excellence ensure that patient outcomes are at the front and centre of what we do.”
Freedom Health Insurance chief operating officer Hoosh Mires adds: “With our Freedom 360 toolkit, we’re introducing partners that bring real value to our members’ health journeys.
“This partnership strengthens the cancer support available to members, providing expert-led guidance and practical help during what can be a challenging time. It also works hand in hand with our NHS cancer cash benefit, giving members added reassurance and support alongside expert navigation and advocacy from Reframe.”
