Salvus Master Trust is launching a new app to encourage more engagement with members.

The app, which will be available on both IOS and Android platforms, will allow members to access information about their company pension, and transact transfers via Origo.

The company says this app will help enable access to a pensions dashboard, as this initiative starts to gain ground.

Salvus says this new app will be launched in the first three months of 2019.

Salvus national head of sales Bill Finch says this app “complements the current member portal and the pension freedoms portal, known as Salvus Retirement Bridge”.

He adds: “Member education and access to information is key to good member outcomes and by using the app members will be able to transact transfers via Origo far more easily.”

Salvus found Steve Goddard adds: “We are looking at a first quarter launch for this app. This will also assist in developing future dashboard access.”

Salvus is currently in the process of applying for master trust authorisation. It has more than 60,000 members.
