Barnett Waddingham has announced that Keith Satchell will be stepping down as its chairman after 11 years in the role.

His position, as non-executive chair, will be taken by Elizabth Renshaw-Ames, who joins Barnett Waddingham this month (January 2019).

Renshaw-Ames has extensive experience in the pensions industry, having previously worked at both Mercer and PwC.

She has been on the board of a leading charity and has also been been chief executive of HSBC Bank Pension Trust.

Barnett Waddingham partner Nick Salter says: “We have been very fortunate to have had Keith as our chair for the last 11 years.  His input has been invaluable.”

He adds that the role of non-executive chair is increasingly important and said Renshaw-Ames will contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
