Scottish Widows appoints intermediary wealth director

Scottish Widows has appointed Jenny Davidson as intermediary wealth director, effective October 2025.

Davidson has over 30 years of experience in financial services across firms such as Standard Life, abrdn and Quilter.

At Quilter, she was proposition and commercial director since June 2022, leading the product & proposition function and strategy for the affluent segment of the business, responsible for platform, investments and advice.

Prior to that, she had spent 10 years at abrdn, most recently as global head of wealth solutions, and nearly five years at Standard Life as head of platform investment proportions.

Davidson has grown adviser platform technologies and strategies and has led high-performing global and multi-functional teams. She sits on the Board of UK Platform Association.

Scottish Widows managing director, pensions & retirements Graeme Bold says: “Jenny’s wealth of knowledge and experience of platform strategies and technology will be hugely valuable to Scottish Widows as we continue to deliver our ambitious growth plans.
