Secondsight, part of Foster Denovo, has appointed John Dean to lead its health and protection practice.
Dean will take over from Anne Drugnick who will return to a consulting role within the organsiation.
Dean has more than 30 years’ experience in the sector and joins from Healix, where he most recent held the role of consulting development director.
Last year Secondsight bought Punter Southall’s employee benefits arm, which double the size of team with a client roster of 1,500. Secondsight director Matthew Mitten says: “[Dean] is bringing his considerable experience in this specialised market to lead health and protection for Secondsight.
“His extensive knowledge and strategic grasp is second-to-none and we’re very pleased he’s joining us to head the health and protection team as demand for our consulting continues to grow.”
The appointment means Drugnick, who has led health and protection throughout the successful integration process, returns to a consulting role.
Matthew adds: “[Drugnick] led Secondsight’s health and protection team as part of the process to integrate Punter Southall’s employee benefits advisory business over the last year.
“Having done so, she’s delighted she’s now returning to what she has spent decades excelling at, advising clients on their health and protection needs as the market evolves and demand increases.”
