SEI has appointed Chris Hogg to its SEI Master Trust board of directors.
In addition to his board responsibilities, Hogg will also serve as a member of the risk and operations sub-committee.
Hogg has 25 years of experience in the pensions sector, and has held senior roles in a variety of trustee executive functions across both the DC and DB sector — most recently as CEO of the National Grid UK Pension Scheme.
Hogg has also served as CEO to Royal Mail’s pensions trustees and held roles at Aon and KMPG.
He is experienced in managing pension schemes and providing strategic guidance, including investment management, risk management and operations, and member engagement.
SEI chair of the trustee Allan Course says: “As employers increasingly seek robust, stable, and customised scheme solutions, we are committed to evolving the SEI Master Trust to meet their needs while ensuring we have the right trustee board talent to best support them.
“[Hogg’s] expertise in every facet of pensions scheme management for schemes of varying sizes will be an invaluable asset to our board.”
