SEI has appointed Priti Ruparelia to the SEI master trust board of directors.
Ruparelia will join the master trust investment sub-committee. She is the trustee director and head of defined contribution at Independent Governance Group (IGG), with over 25 years of pension experience that includes managing DC contracts, developing new pension schemes, and migrating to master trust arrangements.
She previously oversaw Legal and General Investment Management’s (LGIM) DC Client Relationship team, which oversaw the organisation’s master trust connections. She formerly worked as a senior client director at BlackRock and Aegon, where she handled DC and defined benefit partnerships.
Ruparelia is committed to enhancing the pension member experience and improving communication for better member outcomes. She serves as a trustee for several DB and DC pension schemes and is a member of the DCIF Advisory Board and the Pensions Management Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Decision Sciences from the University of Hertfordshire.
Chair of the Trustee Allan Course says: “As the pensions industry continues to experience constant evolution, members and employers are looking for a master trust that offers them stability—and we’re committed to evolving our trust, as well as the talent on the Trustee Board that supports it, to meet their needs.
“The breadth of Priti’s knowledge across the DC and pension provider space, as well as her ability to build collaborative relationships with trustees, employers, and advisers, will be invaluable assets to our board. We’re excited to welcome her and look forward to working with her to deliver better member outcomes through to retirement and beyond.”
Ruparelia adds: “I’m delighted to be joining the SEI Master Trust and look forward to working with the board to contribute to its continued success. I’m eager to bring my experience and insights to work together in driving positive outcomes for our members and stakeholders.”
