Strattan, who left Mercer in December after over 17 years with the consultancy, will be responsible for strategic engagement with EBCs and corporate advisory firms that are looking to work with a master trust to provide customisable DC solutions for their clients.

Trust Pensions is a qualifying workplace pension scheme offering members the option of selecting from a range of risk profiled funds managed by Architas, the Axa-owned investment manager, or to select a managed option using BirthStar target date funds, managed by AllianceBernstein. Scheme assets are held in the Axa Wealth Corporate Trustee Investment Plan.

Trust Pensions is part of the Corporate Pensions Trust, a multi-employer defined contribution occupational scheme.

Strattan says: “Consultants and corporate advisers have a key role to play in supporting their clients, and for those that don’t have their own master trust, Trust Pensions can provide a customisable scheme within a robust governance framework.”

Trust Pensions head of business development Griselda Williams says: “We are delighted to welcome Dick. He brings vast experience and a deep knowledge of best practice in workplace pensions.  Advisory firms are working hard to create and customise quality schemes for the membership of their clients, and Trust Pensoons there as a platform to help them deliver that vision.”
