Richard Parkin has been named as head of retirement at T Rowe Price.
He will be expected to work closely with clients, regulators, and industry partners to lead the firm’s UK retirement strategy.
Parkin says: “It’s an exciting time for the UK retirement market and at TRP we can draw on a deep understanding and experience of supporting clients achieve better outcomes. I’m really looking forward to working with clients, colleagues, and industry partners to shape what’s next.”
He joins from BNY, where he had been head of retirement since 2023. Previous roles include head of pensions policy at Fidelity International. Parkin is also chair of the retirement income committee at the Investment Association.
The Baltimore, US, headquartered T Rowe Price reported $1.8 trillion in assets under management as of 31 January.
