People’s Pension appoints new trustee

The People’s Pension has expanded its trustee board, appointing Sheila Doyle to the role.

Doyle joins six existing trustee directors to oversee the running of the workplace pension scheme which has assets under management of £26bn and now serves 6.5m members.

Doyle has more than three decades of experience in executive and board positions across organisations including Deloitte, BP, Royal Mail, IBM, and Deutsche Bank and is a specialist in delivering transformational change through the application of digital solutions.

The People’s Pension chair of trustees Mark Condron says: “[Doyle’s] appointment to the board is fantastic news for our membership as she comes with an impressive record of innovating and implementing change. She will help us fulfil our purpose of helping people build stronger financial foundations for the future.”
