Thomsons Online Benefits and JLT take top honours at Corporate Adviser Awards 2013

JLT Employee Benefits pulled off a hat-trick with wins in the Pension Adviser of the Year, Best International Benefits Adviser and Best Use of Technology by a Corporate Adviser categories at the event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel hosted by comedian Miles Jupp.

Andy Cheseldine, principal at LCP, was named Industry Personality of the Year and also saw his firm take home the award for Best Strategy for Investment Advice on Pensions, while Jelf Employee Benefits took home gongs for Group Risk Adviser of the Year and Healthcare Adviser of the Year.

Capita Employee Benefits netted a brace, winning the Best Integrated Health and Wellbeing Solution and Best Auto-Enrolment Solution from an Adviser categories, while Premier Choice Group scooping the Best Cashplan Solution. The award for Group Income Protection Adviser of the Year went to PMI Health Group. 80Twenty Consultancy made it two in a row, taking home Corporate Adviser Small Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year.

In the provider categories which canvassed the votes of over 350 intermediaries, Scottish Widows were voted best pension provider, Unum won best group risk provider, Aviva UK Health were named best healthcare provider and Westfield Health took home the award for Best Cashplan Provider. Scottish Life’s Governed Range was named Ultimate Default Fund for a fourth consecutive year.
