TPT Retirement Solutions has appointed Helen Taylor as its new chief legal, risk & compliance officer (CLRCO).

Reporting directly to TPT’s chief executive David Lane, Taylor will be responsible for the management of TPT’s risk, compliance and training frameworks as it looks to introduce a number of new products to the UK market. This includes its new superfund and a multi-employer CDC scheme, both of which are pending regulatory authorisation.

In her new role Taylor will be responsible for ensuring the pension company has the right resources, skills and capabilities to deliver on its business objectives while ensuring good outcomes for members.

Taylor has worked for TPT for more than a decade, having held a number of senior roles, including chief people officer, corporate services director and HR director.

Prior to joining TPT she worked for European retailer Damartex, and was previously also  head of organisational development and legal training at Hammonds Direct law firm.

TPT Retirement Solutions CEO David Lane says: “As TPT continues to grow its suite of consolidation vehicles, compliance and risk management will demand a collective approach. [Taylor’s] leadership and oversight will be instrumental in strengthening our compliance frameworks, supporting a culture of accountability and professionalism, and ensuring we continue to operate in the best interests of our members.”
