She joins TPTIM after after the business recently launched a series of new collective investment vehicles, designed to offer schemes access to a wide range of investment strategies.
These funds enable pension schemes joining TPT to immediately achieve scale benefits across asset classes by aggregating the assets in the master trust. This approach enables TPTIM to build on the successful model of scheme consolidation – pooling assets to deliver value and impact – to the benefit of pension schemes and their members.
TPTIM investment director Peter Smith says: “Understanding, managing and communicating investment risk in order to deliver high quality client outcomes has never been more important, and [Poon’s] addition will be imperative as we navigate market volatility, and a pensions industry primed for change.
“As we continue to expand our offerings for employers and members, risk management will play an essential role in its effective delivery.”
