TPT Investment Management has appointed Martin Shimell to the role of senior investment manager.
In this role he will be responsible for leading TPTIM’s portfolio management activities, the development of innovative investment strategies and helping to guide the team in carrying out its fiduciary duty across economic cycles.
Shimell joins from Schroders where he works as an investment specialist in the outsourced CIO team. He has also worked in the in-house pensions and investments team at Centrica, focusing on strategic asset allocation and the effective implementation of their LDI strategy. Prior to his he has worked as an analyst at Mercer and investment consultant at WTW.
TPTIM has recently launched a number of new collective investment funds for UK pension schemes, including a Real Assets Fund and a Private Credit Fund.
