TPT Investment Management (TPTIM) has appointed Nick Stacey as its senior investment manager.
In this new role, Stacey will be responsible for enhancing TPTIM’s research activities and continuing to develop its private market investment strategy.
He will also support the wider team on strategy and portfolio construction initiatives as well as product development.
Stacey most recently worked as the head of asset management and allocation for a European family office. Prior to this he spent eight years at the in-house investment team at Barclays UK Retirement Fund, focusing on investment strategy and research relating to return-seeking assets.
The fiduciary management company is part of the wider TPT Retirement Solutions group. It has recently launching a series of new collective investment vehicles, designed to offer schemes easy access to a wide range of investment strategies.
These funds will enable pension schemes joining TPT to immediately achieve scale benefits across asset classes by aggregating with the assets in the master trust. This approach enables TPTIM to build on the model of scheme consolidation – pooling assets to deliver value and impact – to the benefit of pension schemes and their members.
TPTIM investment director Peter Smith says: “The skills [Stacey] brings to his new role will be crucial in helping us achieve the plans we have for our business. He joins as we continue to expand our product range and enhance the investment options available for the UK’s small to mid sized pension schemes.”
