The Transparency Task Force has appointed Bobby Riddaway as its new ambassador.
Riddaway is current a senior investment consultant at Capital Employee Solutions. In his new role he will be working with the organisation to improve transparency across the industry to help deliver better value for money for consumers, and create fairer, more stable and more efficient markets.
Riddaway says he was delighted to be appointed to this role. “It comes at a time when the investment consulting industry is just about to receive the final CMA orders and the Transparency Task Force is helping to rebuild trust in financial services.
“I have always been a supporter of clear and concise fee models when delivering advice to clients and support the efforts to show how that advice benefits pension schemes, which is integral in any trusting relationship in institutional investment.
“In my role as anaAmbassador I will not be focussing solely on my area of the industry but will be an active participant in any area where my input can add value.”
TTF founder Andy Agathangelou adds: “It is becoming increasingly clear that there is a very strong correlation between transparency, truthfulness and trustworthiness
“It is great that Bobby has become an ambassador for the organisation, because the investment consulting and fiduciary management sectors are going through a period of significant change. It needs authentic, client-centric champions of transparency to help it change and evolve in the right way.
“He fits the bill perfectly – he has earned a first class reputation over many years for speaking his mind on the positive changes needed to help ensure pension scheme members get the best outcomes they can.”
