Health insurer Vitality is now offering members a new physiotherapy service, carers support and discounted screening options.

These services will be available on its health, life and investment products.

The new physiotherapy service, PhysioCare, is being offered through Ascenti. This service will be fully integrated with Ascenti’s bespoke patient workflow system, meaning physiotherapists will be able to provide Vitality members with video exercises, track their progress, and adjust rehabilitation programmes accordingly.

Vitality says it has extended its partnership with Bluecrest Health, which means members will now qualify for discounts at the company’s 2,000 roaming clinics. These discounts can be up to 80 per cent and will include screening to cover liver, lung, kidney and heart function. Members book screenings via the Vitality Member Zone.

Vitality has also adde access to later life carer advice to its proposition. This will be available to Vitality member and their immediate family, and will be offered by SuperCarers.

Through this service members will be able to speak to a care expert to discuss options for themselves or a family member; this will also include access to a care booking service. Again discounts will be offered to members for services booked through this service.

Vitality chief executive Neville Koopowitz says: “With our members increasingly faced with an abundance of information about health and wellness, we wanted to simplify the way they can access services to support their own health, and that of their families.

“Our new partners will help us to continue to provide transparent and accessible advice and screenings for our members, empowering them to make informed choices about their healthcare.”
