Vitality has launched a new online hub as part of its Vitality Champions Programme, offering enhanced support to corporate clients aiming to integrate health and wellbeing into their company culture.
The programme offers specialised training, health advice, and access to experts in addition to incentives such as discounts and awards.
These tools help clients create health plans; Vitality data indicates that insured clients experience up to 46 per cent fewer health costs for active participants and 2.5 more productive days annually.
The Champions Programme will benefit from the new hub, which will make access easier and promote community and cooperation. Employees can use it as a dedicated platform to interact with wellness and health resources, meet advocates who share their values, and obtain resources to enhance their mental and physical health.
Vitality champions programme director Maggie Alphonsi: “We all want to live our healthiest lives, but it can be difficult to know where to start, but our programme helps people make this first step, and all subsequent strides, so much easier. We work closely with our corporate clients to make sure that they have the tools, support and guidance they need to help their employees get heathier.”
Vitality programme managing director Nick Read says: “Employee health is about doing much more than just the right thing, having a significant impact on workplace productivity. Today’s announcement on the hub is the latest in a wealth of support we offer businesses and organisations to enable them to prioritise employee health and put in meaningful support and interventions to change the health of their workforce.
“Where health at work is properly supported, business and the wider economy gain significantly.”
