Martin Dietz

Martin Dietz, head of diversified strategies, LGIM

Martin is a fund manager in LGIM’s Multi-Asset Funds team and responsible for the development of medium and long-term investment strategy.

Prior to joining LGIM in September 2012, Martin was a senior investment consultant at Towers Watson where he was a member of its Global Investment Committee and UK Portfolio Construction Group, providing asset class views and dynamic asset allocation for consulting and fiduciary clients. Martin previously worked as a manager at Ernst & Young in its Financial Services Risk Management.

He has a PhD (summa cum laude) in Economics and Finance from the University of St Gallen, graduated from the doctoral programme of the Swiss National Bank at Gerzensee and was a visiting PhD student in Economics at UC Berkeley.

Jesal Mistry

Jesal Mistry, head of DC investments governance and proposition, LGIM

Jesal leads Legal & General Investment Management’s dedicated DC Investments Team. The Team provides DC Investment expertise to LGIM’s clients and their advisers, supporting with their investment strategies and ensuring that they are aware of the latest developments with regards to DC investment at Legal & General.

Jesal joined Legal & General in June 2019 having previously worked for Hymans Robertson where he was Senior DC Investment Consultant, responsible for managing key DC Investment relationships and supporting clients with strategies designed for their members. Jesal was also responsible for managing strategic relationships with all major DC providers in the UK.

Prior to that, Jesal was Head of DC Investment Consulting at Capita Employee Benefits where he was responsible for developing Capita’s DC investment proposition and advising clients. Jesal has over 17 years of DC pensions and investment experience.

Adele Ray LG

Adele Ray, Business Development Director, LGIM

Adele’s key focus is to manage relationships with employee benefit consultants across the UK, leading discussions across the entire L&G DC product range ensuring they are aware of the latest developments in the DC proposition at Legal & General. Adele joined the DC Distribution team in October 2014 after joining the business in 2010 as a Consultant Relationship Executive.

Prior to joining Legal & General, she worked at JP Morgan Asset Management in a sales support role. She has a BA (honours) degree in law and sociology from the University of Warwick and holds the Investment Management Certificate. Adele is passionate about DC pensions and supporting our future savers, driven by her desire to improve retirement outcomes and pension adequacy for members.
