Linda Whorlow has returned to Aegon as the director of strategy and consulting after a sabbatical following her 30-year milestone in the industry.
She has also been appointed as a non-executive director at Broadstone.
In a LinkedIn post, Whorlow said: “Recharged, refreshed and super excited to share my return today from a three-month sabbatical, having celebrated 30 years in our industry.
“As managing director, it’s been an honour and a joy to work with such brilliant people at Aegon, our wonderful partners and so many great clients over the years. I’m so very proud of all the work we’ve done together.
“I now look forward to my own next chapter, with a new role allowing me to continue to drive Aegon’s strategy and good work within our industry as well as providing me with time to make a difference in some new and interesting ways both professionally and personally.
“This includes expanding my non-executive career, where I’m also delighted to share my recent appointment to the Broadstone Board, at a very exciting time in their development and growth ambitions.”
