WorkLife by OpenMoney has appointed Paul Chedzey as its new relationship director.

Chedzey has over 10 years’ business development experience within the financial advice market and will be responsible for growing and developing WorkLife’s offering for advisers looking to provide a range of employee benefits to SME clients.

Prior to joining WorkLife, Chedzey was an account director at specialist insurance software firm Open GI and he has previously held senior sales positions at financial services technology businesses IRESS and Intelliflo.

Chedzey says: “By being able to access a variety of perks on the WorkLife platform, advisers now have a simple means of providing consultancy-driven benefits that genuinely support firms’ overall employee engagement and wellbeing strategy.”

WorkLife by OpenMoney director Steve Bee adds: “Since launching last year, we’ve seen a huge uptick in demand from advisers who want to enhance the benefits solutions they can offer clients.

“Our long-term aim is to ensure the types of benefits available at large corporates are made accessible and affordable to every UK business.”

He adds that Chedzey’s expertise will be invaluable in helping the firm achieve this over the coming years.
