WPA extends choice for intermediaries and their customers

WPA has expanded the options available to customers and intermediaries by introducing Absolute Health, a fully insured claims-rated product for the mid-to-large corporate market.

Absolute Health was created for businesses that want to provide benefits that will assist them in delivering their corporate healthcare strategy and objectives.

WPA executive director of large corporate customers Brian Goodman says: “We have launched Absolute Health in response to the feedback from intermediaries who were keen for WPA to have a fully insured option for larger schemes so that more of their customers can experience our market-leading service.

“Absolute Health is 100 per cent insured and includes the option to include a profit share. Mental Health, Musculoskeletal and Cancer Pathways are included as standard and it also comes with access to our Precision Analytics platform which provides market-leading claims transparency. All Absolute Health customers will be able to utilise the WPA Health App – enabling them to start their treatment journey digitally.”

Buck senior consultant Sarah Brannan says: “The number of providers in the insured Private Medical Insurance market has been shrinking in recent years, in large part due to acquisitions, so it is exciting to see WPA returning to the fully insured space to provide mid to large corporate clients with another option.  For those clients who don’t want to take on the additional liability represented by the Corporate Deductible funding mechanism, this re-opens WPA to them as a potential partner to deliver their medical benefits.”
