YuLife launches new wellbeing add-ons to expand group risk offering

YuLife has introduced three new modular add-ons to its group risk insurance policies.

According to Yulife, the new features give employers more flexibility in tailoring employee benefits and enabling advisers to offer scalable, preventative health solutions.

Yulife says the move is a response to businesses’ growing demand for more impactful and personalised wellbeing support, as well as a focus on prevention and employee engagement.

The three optional add-ons now available are:

  • Reward & Recognition Pass – Employees earn YuCoin, YuLife’s in-app wellbeing currency, for completing healthy activities. They can redeem YuCoin for gift cards, vouchers, or wellness products – driving engagement, motivation, and a culture of appreciation.
  • Wellbeing Pass – A comprehensive lifestyle and wellness toolkit including gym discounts (via Hussle), walking pads, online eye screenings (Ocushield), health checks, and wearable tech (Garmin) — designed to improve day-to-day health and boost benefit uptake.
  • Prevention Pass – Targeted interventions to reduce absenteeism and burnout, including discounted therapy (via BetterHelp), private medical scans, heart health checks, and sleep and nutrition coaching, alongside lifestyle perks like New Balance trainers.

According to YuLife, the new features have led to a 14 per cent increase in healthy habit engagement, based on 2025 internal data.

All three are available immediately to new and existing clients. Key partners include Garmin, BetterHelp, Hussle, New Balance, and Ocushield.

YuLife CEO Sammy Rubin says: “We’re seeing growing appetite among employers for solutions that go beyond protection to deliver ongoing impact. These new modular add-ons give advisers more tools to tailor solutions for clients, increase wellbeing ROI, and embed prevention into everyday benefit design.”
