Zedra makes new legal appointment as it continues expansion plans

Zedra has appointed Jon McKay to be its new global head of legal.

In this new role McKay will be part of the senior management committee of the  firm, providing legal support to the business across its different services lines. These includes its wealth, pensions and incentive service, fund solutions and corporate divisions. 

McKay has worked international in a variety of legal, risk, and management roles within the sector in his nearly two decades of professional experience. Most recently he was managing director and head of business solutions for TrustQore in Switzerland. 

He will be based in Zedra’s Manchester office, working closely with Stuart Esslemont, who will continue in his role as global head of compliance and risk.

McKay will report to Zedra CEO, Ivo Hemelraad. Hemelraad, says: “We are delighted to welcome Jon to our team as we continue to expand rapidly.
