Available immediately, the Zurich Master Trust will give employees access to the providers insured funds, including blended and white-labelled funds.

The fund range, including the default fund, will be specified taking into account the needs of the employer and guidance, where provided, from the employer’s adviser.

Simon Foster, Head of Zurich’s corporate life and pensions business in the UK says:  “We are excited to be launching a master trust proposition offering employers value for money, flexibility of investment choices and the ability to tailor governance arrangements to meet employer and employee needs.

“Through the involvement of a truly independent trustee, employers and members can also be confident that the governance of the scheme will be overseen wholly separately from Zurich.”

Kim Nash, client director at PTL says: “Our brief is to oversee the management of the Trust and act independently of Zurich, on behalf of the members of the Master Trust”.
