Broadstone has joined Grid, the industry body for group risk, to keep up to date with industry developments as the company grows.

Broadstone says Grid’s training and platform, which allows members to have influence in the wider sector, are particularly appealing.

Broadstone head of employee benefits Paul McGuckin says: “I became conscious that, as we grew, we had less time to keep up to date with industry developments and that our training and development needs had become, if anything, more demanding.

“The pandemic has changed how we interact with both our clients and our industry providers, it has highlighted the importance of both sustainable talent development and of having the ability to influence a sector in which we are a significant player. Grid membership provides us with a recognized, and credible, platform from which we can address these equally important challenges more fully.”

Grid membership offers training, networking, and access to consultation replies, industry leaders, claims data, and research, among other things.

Grid chair Paul White says: “Our reach, both within the industry and beyond, adds real value to our members, and ultimately supports our clients. And the wider the breadth of our membership, the better we’re able to do this. We offer a very warm welcome to Broadstone and look forward to working together.”
