AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has appointed Laurent Caillot as global chief operating officer effective 1 September 2022.

He will replace Godefroy de Colombe, who will pursue a career in a new sector.

Caillot will serve as a member of the AXA IM Management Board and report to Marco Morelli, the company’s executive chairman, from his home base in Paris. Along with his existing duties in technology, operations, and data management, he will also be responsible for project management, security, procurement, facilities management, and innovation in this post.

AXA Investment Managers executive chairman Marco Morelli says: “Godefroy has supported AXA’s development for the last 15 years in many different roles and I would like to warmly thank him for his contribution, not only to AXA IM in recent years but also to AXA more broadly. I wish him a lot of happiness, fulfilment and success in his new venture.

“I am delighted to welcome Laurent as a member of the Management Board, and I look forward to our enhanced and close collaboration”.
