Mercer UK chief growth officer Nick Mclelland has left the firm to join Champion Health.
He was responsible for creating and implementing a long-term and short-term sustainable sales and growth plan in addition to managing Mercer’s sales and client teams across the UK and fostering innovation in our markets. He initially joined the firm as a partner and UK growth leader.
Champion Health says it collaborates with major corporations to create a platform that unifies all facets of wellbeing. Mclelland oversees the expansion of its “Netflix of Wellbeing” health and wellbeing platform.
In a Linkedin post, Mclelland said: “It has been an incredible journey and I have had the privilege of being acquired twice in the past 6 years by the Marsh McLennan and Mercer businesses. In that time I have made some incredible friends and been involved in some epic projects.
“It has also been a challenging few years personally and those that know me well, will understand the need to prioritise my own wellbeing and as a result, the need for a change. Indeed I am finally taking the advice I have often dished out, but not necessarily always walked the walk.
“Finally and most importantly, I also want to say thank you to the amazing people who have supported me both professionally and personally over the last few years.”
