Broadstone has appointed Richard Pringle as a principal consultant within the health and protection team of its employee benefits consulting division.
Pringle joins from Mercer Marsh benefits, where he has worked for 10 years. Prior to that he has held roles at Alexander Forbes Healthcare and Aegon during a 20 year career in risk, health and wellbeing consulting, which has seen him work with corporate clients across a range of sectors.
Pringle has considerable experience when it comes to supporting clients with flexible benefits platforms, from scheme design through to broking and communications.
Pringle says: “Coming out of the pandemic and immediately entering into the NHS crisis has driven increasing demand from corporates for bespoke health and risk strategies. Health and wellbeing is a core component of business’ employee benefits package as business leaders recognise the importance of keeping their staff fit, healthy and productive.”
Broadstone’s head of of health and protection Brett Hill says: “[Pringle] has an excellent technical background and decades of experience working from both the adviser and the insurer side. Our clients will certainly benefit from his wide-ranging expertise as they examine their health, risk and wellbeing strategies.”
