Railpen has appointed Donna Adams as director of member experience.

Adams joins from Barclays, where she spent more than three decades and was most recently global head of employee operations strategy and employee experience. She was also previously global head of digital employee experience and head of employee culture and values transformation.

Adams will be responsible for transforming members’ experience at every stage of their journey and touchpoints with Railpen. She will report to the chief officer, member services, Nicola Cromack.

Cromack says: “I am delighted to welcome someone of Donna’s calibre to lead the team, where she will bring fresh perspectives and new ideas. Donna joins at a critical time for Member Services, with our member-first agenda really starting to accelerate.

“Donna will be building on a strong foundation of the work her team has delivered and the capability and creativity that sits within it.”

Adams says: “I am thrilled to be joining Railpen at such an exciting time for Member Services. I have led large-scale transformation across colleague and customer experience, aligning people, processes and technology to deliver better outcomes.

“I strongly believe that member-first and colleague-first go hand in hand – when colleagues feel valued and supported, members feel the difference. I am excited to start delivering for our members.”
