Aon has appointed Gemma Burrows as a new DC consulting partner.

Burrows joins from Willis Towers Watson, where she was director of client leadership and a senior consultant.

At WTW she worked with both trustees and corporate buyers to design DC solutions that helped meet their strategic goals. This included work on governance, communication and regulatory issues. Prior to this Burrows was a senior consultant for Mercer.

Announcing the appointment Aon’s talent acquisition manager, Naomi Wilson said the company was looking forward to the “insight and leadership” Burrows will bring to the team.

The announcement was welcomed by Aon’s head of UK retirement Ben Roe, as part of the company’s continued growth in the UK DC sector.
