Marsh has appointed Nick McMenemy as Mercer Marsh Benefits UK leader.

McMenemy has joined Marsh in 2019 and has been a partner in the business since 2020.

In this new role he will be responsible for delivering health and benefits solutions in the UK, helping companies attract and retain talent, manage health costs, and improve workplace wellbeing.

McMenemy has worked across financial services for almost 28 years, having held a number of leadership roles in the UK  and is also co-chair of Mercer’s UK Pride colleague resource group.

In his new role he will report to Phil Parkinson, Mercer UK’s president and CEO. He will also work closely with Herve Balzano, Mercer’s president of health and benefits and Mercer Marsh Benefits’ global leader.

Parkinson says: “With wider pressures on society, the role of workplace health and benefits has become even more integral as firms manage and foster talent and deliver healthcare and protection to employees and their families.

“[McMenemy] brings a wealth of experience into this role, and I am confident he can deliver the solutions our clients need in a dynamic economic and social environment.”

McMenemy adds: “The health of the nation and the workforce is increasingly the number one priority for policy makers and employers, and we are well placed to provide practical solutions across a diverse range of challenges.

“Our global reach and expertise in the delivery of benefits brokerage, consultancy, advisory and digital solutions mean we can help clients of all sizes and complexity. It is a privilege to be asked to lead in the UK at such a significant time.”
