Broadstone has appointed Steven Bell and Liam Hudson to be senior DC consultants.

Bell joins from Aon and will have a particular focus on trust-based schemes. He has more than 28-years’ experience, having advised corporate and trustee clients on a range of legislative and strategic pension issues.

Hudson (pictured) joins from Howden and has significant experience in DC pensions and workplace savings. In his previous role he helped clients respond to regulatory change and evolving workforce needs, advising a range of organisations on pension strategy, governance, provider oversight and member outcomes.

As senior DC consultants both will work within Broadstone’s wider employer benefits consulting division, to strengthen its offering in the sector and help the firm deliver on ambitious growth objectives.

Broadstone head of DC workplace savings Damon Hopkins says: “Continued development of our DC proposition and acquiring new clients are key strategic priorities for Broadstone and attracting exceptional talent is central to achieving this.

“Bell and Hudson bring significant expertise and industry experience, further enhancing our ability to support clients with high-quality, independent advice as the DC landscape continues to evolve.”

Steven Bell, senior DC consultant at Broadstone says: “With increasing focus on governance, value for money and improving member outcomes, employers and trustees need high-quality advice to better support pension savers.

“I look forward to applying my experience of advising trust-based schemes to help clients address these challenges and make informed decisions about the future of their pension arrangements.”

Liam Hudson, senior DC consultant at Broadstone adds that he wants to continue helping employers improve retirement outcomes and delivering pension benefits that genuinely support employees. “I look forward to helping clients navigate what is a rapidly changing and complex DC landscape.”
