Acrisure UK Broking has joined the trade body Group Risk Development (Grid).

The firm delivers advice on a range of benefits to both employers and their employees. Acrisure says in recent years it has seen a marked increase in both the volume and complexity of referrals to its healthcare and protection team, particularly through its UK and US partner network.

It adds that joining Grid will provide a platform to share best practice, deepen its expertise in this area while remaining at the forefront of developments in the group risk market.

Acrisure’s team leader of healthcare and protection Joe Scallan says: “Our focus has always been on delivering expert, well‑informed advice that improves outcomes for employers and their people.

“We are committed to applying technical knowledge, market insight, and proven experience to help clients navigate complexity and make confident, well‑judged decisions.”

He adds that joining Grid is a natural extension of this approach for Acrisure.

Grid chair Colin Fitzgerald adds: “Combining the knowledge and expertise of a wide range of companies that all share a similar goal and outlook is one of the major assets and aims of Grid. Our membership has a collective wealth of experience built over years of operating in the group risk protection market.

“At Grid we’re focused on making sure our customers and clients are able to benefit from that collective experience.”
