Aptia has appointed former The Pensions Regulator (TPR) specialist Wendy Neller as a senior consultant within its consulting practice.
Neller joins the pension administration and consultancy provider with more than 26 years of industry experience spanning pension administration, governance, strategy and regulatory oversight. She joins from TPR, where she was technical principal in its relationship supervision team, where she led engagement with pension schemes, administrators and industry stakeholders.
She will advise clients on governance, risk management, operational efficiency and regulatory readiness and will also support Aptia’s work in the LGPS market.
Neller began her career at Mercer before moving to Equiniti and later spent 14 years at East Sussex County Council, where she held several senior roles within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), including pensions operational manager and strategy and governance manager.
Aptia’s Consulting leader Stuart Heatley says: “Wendy’s deep experience across administration, regulation and consulting makes her an extremely welcome addition to our team. Her extensive knowledge of scheme operations and regulatory expectations will be invaluable in helping clients navigate an evolving regulatory landscape with confidence, enabling more informed and better outcomes for members.”
Neller says: “I am delighted to be joining Aptia at such a pivotal time for the pensions industry. With schemes facing growing operational and regulatory pressures, I’m looking forward to working closely with clients to strengthen governance, enhance operational resilience, and support sustainable, long-term outcomes.”
