Axa Health has appointed Jordan Ayrey to be its SME distribution director to help it further boost its footprint in this market.

Ayrey joins from Bupa, where he was head of consumer intermediary. He has held a number of positions at the healthcare provider, helping drive  new business growth by working with key intermediaries across both the SME and individual sector. In total he has over 10 years experience working in distribution.

Ayrey will join Axa Health in November and in this new role will look to grow the company’s SME client base, working closely with intermediary and distribution partners.

Axa Health director of distribution & marketing Richard Glassborow says: “[Ayrey] has a great reputation across the broker market which, alongside his experience and knowledge, will help us deliver a step-change in performance in order to achieve our ambitious growth plans.”
