Dalriada Trustees has expanded further by appointing the government’s deputy chief actuary to its professional trustee team.

Dalraida has appointed Sarah Brough, who has held a number of senior roles in the Government’s Actuary Department (GAD). Most recently she was deputy chief actuary for funded schemes.

Brough has more than 25 years’ experience in advising DB pension schemes in both the public and private sector through her work with GAD. Brough is also chair of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ (IFoA) Lifelong Learning Committee and a member of the IFoA’s Pension Board

Dalriada says it expect to make further profession trustee and support role appointments in the coming year, as the  demand for experienced and knowledgeable trustees on pension boards grows.

Dalriada chair Tom Lukic says: “Sarah will add another layer of expertise to our growing team of professional trustees that help govern the wide range of schemes with which we work.”

Brough adds: “I was particularly attracted to the diversity of the skills that Dalriada can offer clients through its team based approach. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues in delivering the best possible outcomes for the schemes we govern.”
