Health Connections Direct (HCD) was established in 1997 by Mike Hudson who will continue as a consultant at HCPL.
HCPL is the largest independent health insurance intermediaries in the east of England, employing 40 staff based in their offices in Braintree, Essex.
HCPL managing director Glen Smith says: “I am very confident the acquisition will be a success. Health Connections Direct is a highly regarded intermediary so we are excited to be integrating the businesses and feel it is a natural fit”.
