Cox has spent 18 years at Hewitt and has advised some of the UK’s major companies and pension schemes. He has also held various leadership positions at UK and global level.
Based in London, Cox was most recently the head of global benefits consulting for Hewitt, during which time he launched Hewitt’s global risk services team. He qualified as an actuary in 1992, having graduated in banking and finance from Birmingham University.
Cox says: “These are challenging times economically and the business landscape is changing day by day, prompting organisations to ask more questions of themselves and their advisers than at any time I can recall. It’s therefore an exciting time to be taking over the leadership of Hewitt in the UK and Ireland, offering the opportunity to explore new ways for our talented team to work with clients and to create innovative solutions that meet their needs and deliver even greater value.”
