Maxis Global Benefits Network has appointed Jayesh Patel as chief business development officer.

Patel will lead Maxis GBN’s global business development team and will be responsible for developing and delivering its global business development strategy. He will join the business on 5 May 2026, sit on the executive committee and report to chief executive Matthieu Rouot.

He joins from Allianz Commercial, where he has served as global head of multinational market practice since 2022. Patel held several senior roles at Allianz Global Benefits over nearly 20 years, including regional director for the UK and Ireland and global head of tender and risk management.

Patel says: “I’m delighted to be joining MAXIS GBN and look forward to using my expertise in global strategy and business development to lead its impressive BD team to even greater success. I’m excited to get started and work with the team to ensure we’re delivering the best possible service to our multinational clients around the world.”

Maxis GBN chief executive officer Mattieu Rouot says: “I’m excited that Jayesh will be joining the MAXIS GBN team in May. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience from nearly two decades in the EB and Property and Casualty industries.
