Broadstone has appointed Emily Degan as team leader for its risk and health consulting team.
Degan has almost 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, much of which were at Jelf and Mercer. She has led teams across the DC employee benefits sector, most recently heading up a team of client relationship managers at Mercer Marsh Benefits where she advised SME business on their workplace pension schemes.
In her role at Broadstone, Degan will oversee the delivery of client services across risk, health and employee benefits portfolios, with a focus on the SME market. She will also support the development and delivery of tailored wellbeing and risk solutions.
Broadstone says this appointment comes as it looks to further invest in its risk and health management capability, as demand grows for advice on employee health, protection and workplace wellbeing solutions.
Brett Hill, head of health & protection at Broadstone says: “[Degan’s] experience in the employee benefits sector, combined with her strong background in client service delivery and relationship management, further strengthens Broadstone’s ability to provide high-quality, tailored advice to clients across our risk and health portfolios.
“As demand continues to increase for impactful and cost-effective workplace health strategies, she is going to play a key role in supporting Broadstone’s clients to enhance employee wellbeing and to achieve their broader strategic goals.”
