Punter Southall Governance Services (PSGS) has appointed investment professional Sasha Jain as client director and professional trustee.

Jain has extensive experience of working with trustee boards and corporate stakeholders on a wide range of investment-related issues, including journey planning and investment strategy, risk management, buy-ins and buy-outs, and governance.

She joins from Mercer, where she spent 15 years as an investment consultant, specialising in medium to large (£250m to £5bn+) DB pension schemes of varying complexity.

Jain began her career in asset management with analytical roles at Merrill Lynch Investment Management (now BlackRock) and Pimco.

As well as taking on professional trustee appointments, Jain will be supporting PSGS colleagues on a range of investment issues and leading specific service areas including fiduciary manager selection exercises.

Wayne Phelan, PSGS chief executive officer says: “[Jain] brings great skills and expertise gained through her extensive investment career helping trustee boards make effective decisions and optimise member outcomes. Sharing her knowledge across our team will be of great value to all PSGS clients.”
