WTW Scotland makes senior appointments and promotions

WTW Scotland has made five new appointments and a number of senior promotions within its retirement and pensions outsourcing teams. 

Heather Wright, James Cassidy and Lindsay Cassidy, join the retirement data and project manager team within WTW Scotland, based in the company’s Edinburgh office. 

Wright has worked for the past 25 years’ in house and global pensions and benefit manager for a multi-billion-pound global technology firm with a presence in Scotland. 

Both James and Lindsay Cassidy join from Aptia where and have over 20 years’ experience in the industry.

Meanwhile WTW has also appointed  Andrew Mills and Lynne Campbell to the company’s  governance and pensions solutions (GPS) team in Glasgow. Both have previously worked in the pension consultancy sector where they held senior advisory roles. 

In addition WTW has also announced a number of promotions to senior director levels across its Edinburgh and Glasgow-based teams. These include Paul Whelan, who will take a leadership role in WTW’s Glasgow retirement team. Meanwhile Laura Martin has been appointed scheme actuary to a multi-billion pound Scotland-based pension scheme, and Ross McIntosh will take on a new role focusing on WTW’s AI capabilities and colleague development in Scotland, alongside his role on the Edinburgh retirement management team.

Suzanne Vaughan, head of WTW retirement in Scotland says: “Our continued growth in Edinburgh and Glasgow underscores WTW’s commitment to the Scottish market and these new colleagues significantly enhance our support for pension scheme trustees and sponsors across the region.”
