Pensions and insurance consultancy XPS Group is to provide investment consultancy to the Barnsley-headquartered Sheffield Mutual Friendly Society.
XPS will provide investment manager oversight, performance monitoring and will assess how the Society’s investment strategy aligns with its long-term financial objectives.
The mandate is designed to strengthen Sheffield Mutual’s investment governance framework, by implementing an oversight model intended to enhance strategic decision-making, improve responsiveness to evolving market conditions and support long term value creation for members.

The Sheffield Mutual Friendly Society was founded in 1892 to provide employment benefits to its paying members within this industrial region of the UK.
