Canada Life has appointed Antonio Ribeiro as to the new role of head of distribution within its protection business.
In this role Ribeiro will be responsible for strengthening relationships with key adviser partners in the group protection market, and lead the distribution team to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of employers and their employees.
Ribeiro will also join the protection senior leadership team to support Canada Life’s group protection growth and digitalisation ambitions.
Ribeiro has worked across the UK financial services and tech markets, most recently as the founder and CEO of Yurtle, an employee wellness platform that focused on providing workplace support for carers, helping minis absence from work.
Prior to this he held roles supporting business start-ups and ventures, and was previously client relationship manager at Legal & General Investment Management.
